Dr. Aleksandra Ivetić, University of Belgrade

Dr. Aleksandra Ivetić obtained a PhD in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Agriculture, University in Belgrade. With European scholarship completed professional training in Spain at the University of Salamanca. She is working in the Laboratory for Animal Nutrition, Faculty of Agriculture. Her research activity is focus on influence of additives on ensiling, chemical composition, quality and aerobic stability silage. She is dedicated to research innovative solutions which can improve ensiling and holds two patents and three patent pending. Her innovations have been presented in the Brussels and rewarded with 30 gold medals and other awards at world innovation exhibitions (Czech Republic, Russia, Korea, Canada, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia…). She was invited speaker at Women’s Invention International Forum in Korea- Seoul 2019, organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva, Switzerland.

In 2019 she founded Startup Farma Inova which is dedicated to improving the nutrition of domestic animals and the use of by-products and waste from the food industry for livestock feeding. With her start up Farma Inova and  invention of Silage Stabilizers she won at Delta Business Incubator 2020. This  year  innovative start up has been selected in China to the top 100 startups, from that 10 are for agriculture, among the more than 2800 technologies collected from all over the world.

  • Innovation of procedure and additive application in animal feed

The novelty of the invention is mixture of approved food and feed additives with catalysts; and we called this mixture Silage Stabilizers. Silage stabilizer can adapts to the conditions of each farm individually depending on its capabilities, in a completely new and safe way with regard to human and animal health, as well as on the protection of the environment.
