Mitja Mikuž, Primorska Technology Park
The Primorska Technology Park is one of the most dynamic start-up ecosystems in Slovenia. Its mission is to enable companies growth and development. By joining the PTP incubator, entrepreneurs acquire useful entrepreneurial knowledge, access to experienced mentors and a community of start-up entrepreneurs. In 2021, seven incubated companies grew on average by 30 % p.a., while in the past three years, 11 incubated companies obtained investment means in the total amount of more than EUR 2 million.
Mitja Mikuž is the Start-up Community Manager of the Primorska Technology Park. During the last ten years, he has been involved in the development of more than 250 entrepreneurial projects, initiatives or start-up companies. His main role is to create quality programs. Mitja is 1:1 dedicated to the incubated companies, therefore he knows them and their special features very well and dedicates himself to finding the right mentors for individual companies and their strategic challenges. In cooperation with the incubator founder companies, Mitja has created a successful model of connecting entrepreneurs in a propulsive start-up community.
